Play Reversi online free

A simple web version of the reversi in the PartyAt app. Two players share one device on an 8×8 board: place a disc so it traps a run of your opponent between two of yours, and every trapped disc flips. Legal squares are marked for you, and a player with no move is skipped automatically. Most discs at the end wins.

The PartyAt app adds boards for three and four colours and saved board patterns — plus the rest of the party game collection.

Paano laruin

  1. Choose your format — solo battle for 2–4 players, or (with exactly 4 players) a team battle — pick a board, and start placing discs in turn order.
  2. You can only place a disc where it traps one or more of the opponent's discs in a straight line with your own. Every trapped disc flips to your color — even if several colors are mixed together in between, as long as your color is on both ends.
  3. If you have no legal spot to place a disc, your turn is skipped and play passes to the next player.
  4. The game ends when every player passes in a row, or the board fills up. Whoever holds the most discs wins — in a team battle, it's whichever team's combined total is higher.

Paano manalo

In solo battle, whoever holds the most discs when the game ends wins. In a team battle, the team with the higher combined disc count wins. If the count ends up tied, there's no winner.

Mga tip

  • Corners are gold — once you hold one, it's much harder for your opponent to flip it back.
  • Don't worry about mixed colors sitting between discs — as long as you can trap the line, it all flips your way, so look for any spot that works.
  • Every board layout scores a win-rate per color — winning as the lower-rated color earns more points.

Mga madalas itanong

How many players can join, and what formats are there?
Solo battle supports 2–4 players. With exactly 4 players, you can instead choose a 4-color team battle (black+red vs. white+blue) or a 2-color team battle (black pair vs. white pair).
What board sizes can I choose?
8×8, 9×9, or 10×10 — including irregular layouts with a few blocked wall squares. Before each match you pick from 4 candidate boards, each showing a win-rate estimate, and you can redraw the candidates as many times as you like.
Can I take back a move?
Yes — you can undo the immediately previous move at any time, with no limit on how many times.
Is this the same game as Othello?
"Othello" is a trademarked name for the classic 8×8, two-color version of this game family. PartyAt's Reversi is the same flip-and-capture idea with its own twists — 2–4 player matches and boards up to 10×10.
